Book Arts workshop, coming up!

Book Arts Workshop, The Peace Library – 6/24 (TOMORROW!)

There are a few spaces left for tomorrow night’s workshop! Learn a simple accordion fold book form, and explore its many manifestations. Participate in several exercises designed to generate ideas that can be incorporated into the books. The workshop encourages participation in the upcoming exhibit this September in ARTS Space Obispo. Please come with any of the following:
• Ideas for a book
• Collage materials
• Original artwork
• Cutting mat
• Bone folder
• Papers
• Pens and pencils
• Scissors
• Cutting blade
• Needle punch
• Glue sticks or your favorite adhesive
• Prepared text (poetry, prose, words)
• And any other supplies your might wish to use or share.

We will supply the following:
• Additional papers
• Binding needles
• Sample books
• Additional book binding tools
• Images
• Thread
• Completed books
