Yosemite Renaissance XXIII

Have a love affair with the Sierras? Yearn for Yosemite? The Yosemite Renaissance Juried Exhibition is an annual competition/exhibition to encourage diverse artistic interpretations of Yosemite. Rather than just recycling the same themes & "postcard" views, it encourages artists to represent the Sierras, and specifically Yosemite National Park, in innovative ways. Help this nonprofit in the renaissance of art in the parks with your entry.

The exhibition is limited to recent works on the landscape, environment, wildlife, and people of Yosemite or the Sierra, such as this winning entry, Winter Sunrise, Mono Lake by Ted Orland. All mediums welcomed, and cash prizes are awarded.

Send in your entry by December 1st, 2007!

For more information, application, and fees, visit www.yosemiterenaissance.org.
